About the Role
The Early Childhood Educator (Diploma) provides high-quality education and care for children aged 3 - 5 years, guided by the National Quality Framework and curriculum standards. This role involves creating inclusive and meaningful learning experiences, maintaining professional documentation, and fostering respectful relationships with children, families, and the community. Working collaboratively with the teaching team, the educator contributes to continuous improvement in the centre’s operations and reports to the Early Childhood Teacher and Centre Director.
Your responsibilities will include :
- To adhere to the requirements of the National Quality Standards, the Education & Care National Law and the Education & Care Services National Regulations.
- To work as an enthusiastic team member to provide a responsive environment that supports children’s wellbeing, relationships and learning through intentional teaching, partnerships, and critical reflection.
- To assist in the implementation of high-quality children’s programs in line with legislative requirements and contemporary theories and approaches to early childhood education, responding to individual strengths and interests of children, families, and staff.
- To supervise children’s activities to always ensure the safety of each child.
