Infrastructure Analyst

Genoa Design International (Genoa) is hiring an Infrastructure Analyst to join our innovative, service-minded Information Technology (IT) Team in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland!

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As an Infrastructure Analyst, you’ll play a key role in designing, integrating, and supporting Genoa’s IT infrastructure. You’ll work closely with our operations and development teams to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing systems, while also helping to maintain compliance, resolve escalated issues, and continuously improve our technological environment.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and support infrastructure systems including servers, networking equipment, and security solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, develop implementation plans and provide regular updates on project or service delivery.
• Ensure systems meet availability, performance, security, and compliance objectives.
• Monitor, analyze, and address system performance, availability, and capacity issues.
• Implement and maintain identity and access management systems to align with security protocols.
• Respond to escalated service requests, incidents, and problem tickets.
• Perform advanced administrative tasks across on-premises servers, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
• Recommend and assist with implementing system upgrades and improvements.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response efforts.
• Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure assets, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with operations and facilities teams on data room and equipment needs.
• Taking on additional duties as required to support the IT Team and organization.
