Key Responsibilities for the Job :
Support clients to ensure needs are actively met (identify risks, deliver added value, provide advice, maintain strong relationships, etc.) Analyze financial information and provide valuable solutions for opportunities and challenges Plan, prepare, and execute audits, review engagements, and Notice to Reader files Analyze, prepare, file corporate and personal tax returns, as well as trust returns Prepare and file HST returns, and other government filings Coach and support junior team members Other duties as assigned
Skills & Attributes for Success :
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably as a CPA in public practice Proven knowledge and experience working with GAAP Proficiency with Sage, Profile, Cantax, and / or CaseWare is a definite asset Superior communication skills and a client-focused approach Positive attitude and interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to thrive in an engaged team environment Ability to meet project deadlines within timeframes and budgets Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented work ethic
