Our client, a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials, is seeking to hire a Manager – IT ServiceDesk.

About the Opportunity

The director – ServiceDesk is expecting the incumbent to have experience and implementation of change management, incident management and problem management. Driving enhancement of service desk experience. The ticketing system they have in place is ServiceNow. This is not a hands-on service desk role but people management and process improvement position.

Previous incumbents had issues with communication and leadership. He was taking things personally and was not to build good relationship with stakeholders. The goal is to create a smooth service desk team.

About You

Min 7 years of total experience in leading service desk teams in Microsoft environment.

Min 4 years of people management experience

Strong experience with Change, incident and problem management

Relationship management (strong communication)

Be able to commute 5 days to Mississauga office

Bonus Items

Preference of Industry background – manufacturing and service-oriented entities (Bell, Rogers).

Salary Range

110,000 - $130,000 / year
