Randstad is looking for an Invesment Accountant for a 6 month contract.
Investment Accounting, the Analyst is responsible for timely, complete, and accurate accounting for pooled fund and segregated investments . The Analyst
maintains and performs internal controls effectively; this includes the application of generally accepted accounting principles, industry standards, and professional judgment. The Analyst works in a team environment and may assist staff within the department or in other departments regarding accounting treatment, problem resolution, or recommendations where appropriate.
This position may take direction from an Associate or Senior Analyst, Investment Accounting as necessary. The Analyst performs in an environment where knowledge of net asset valuation methodology, adherence to established policies and procedures, and working collaboratively is key.

Responsibilities
segregated investments in accordance with procedures and internal control requirements
accounting for investments and structures, both within pooled funds and on a segregated basis
accordance with established procedures
Prepares working papers for year-end financial statements for pooled funds and tax filings and
financial information for regulators and clients in accordance with policies and established
standards
and structures, both within pooled funds and on a segregated basis
reporting requirements, investment processes, instruments and structures
processes and technologies that support the finance function
processes aligned to client and asset class objectives
Qualifications
