Requirement/Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four years of related laboratory work experience.
  • Proven working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation.
  • Experience working with ISO 17025 standards or accreditations.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and escalate complex issues appropriately.
Experience:
  • Four years of related laboratory experience.
  • Experience performing analytical testing and data documentation.
  • Experience monitoring, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine analytical and laboratory testing for in-process and final products.
  • Monitor and verify proper functioning of laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Document test results accurately in databases and communicate findings verbally and in writing.
  • Follow safe laboratory practices and participate in safety meetings.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Support trials and experiments under guidance from senior team members.
  • Analyze data to identify issues and determine corrective actions.
  • Assist in evaluating and interpreting complex or atypical test results in collaboration with senior personnel.
  • Maintain laboratory supplies by managing inventory and coordinating orders.
  • Handle clerical, administrative, technical, and customer support tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
  • Laboratory testing and analytical techniques.
  • Instrumentation monitoring and calibration.
  • Data analysis and documentation.
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Written and verbal communication.
  • Inventory and supply management.
Qualification and Education:
  • High school diploma, secondary education, or equivalent required.
  • Laboratory or food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Three plus years of experience in a laboratory or food manufacturing environment preferred.
