Global Inventory Planning Manager
Are you ready to make a significant impact on Mosaic’s supply chain? As the Global Inventory Planning Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in strategizing over the global landscape of our team. Your mission : drive optimization of Mosaic’s Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) inventory across all warehouses worldwide. You’ll shape the future of our inventory management, using deep analytical and operations knowledge to align with peers and stakeholders. You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about optimizing inventory and driving impactful change.
Where will you work : This position will be located at our North America business headquarters at 13830 Circa Crossing Drive | Lithia, FL. Hybrid with three dedicated office days of Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with the opportunity to work from home Wednesday and Friday. You will also be eligible to work a 9 / 80 schedule with every other Friday off.
What you’ll do :
Steer both Operations and Sourcing to the best inventory approach.
Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards.
Develop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talent.
Lead discussions and guide managers across various critical areas within Procurement, including working capital, hard savings, compliance, supplier risk management, diversity and inclusion (D&I), sustainability, inventory planning, spend analysis, project management, and goal forecasting.
Implement robust inventory reduction programs, encouraging the team to explore alternative solutions. Additionally, establish guidelines for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) demand cycles and stock level requirements.
Hold stakeholders accountable to deliver a streamlined inventory level for volume and costs on stock reduction.
Act as leader to engage Operations / Procurement counterparts as representatives in charge to follow the guidelines established for all storerooms.
Lead the team to develop and implement the processes to mitigate risks of disruption, effective inventory planning and inventory working capital management for Mosaic’s MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operating) supply inventory for North and South America operations.
What you’ll need :
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
7+ years experience in supply chain or procurement
Demonstrated leadership, management and organization abilities and experience managing complex projects and priorities
Customer-centric with the demonstrated ability to develop and build effective working relationships
Highly analytical
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Bonus Points if you have the following :
MBA or master’s degree
3+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, Asset Management or Industry
Experience working in a heavy industrial, chemical, or manufacturing environment
Advanced Portuguese and / or Spanish
