Ready for a career glow‑up? As Assistant Manager, Distribution Inventory Operations, you’ll be a hands‑on operational leader overseeing day‑to‑day inventory management across our Canadian distribution network. The work you do will impact beauty, as you help maintain inventory integrity and support end‑to‑end inventory management in partnership with our FSC team and 3PL Canada Distribution Centres. You’ll be part of a collaborative distribution leadership team united in beauty, supported by partners who are just as passionate about operational excellence, risk mitigation, and keeping our inventory moving seamlessly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee inventory integrity for up to $200M in inventory at cost, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency
  • Partner cross‑functionally to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, supporting an exceptional client experience
  • Own weekly inventory reconciliations, driving timely follow‑through and minimizing financial impact to the business
  • Lead inventory accuracy initiatives through root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement, translating insights into action
  • Support the Manager, Distribution Inventory Operations during annual physical inventory planning and execution
  • Lead 3PL Distribution Centre teams through monthly reverse logistics cycles, ensuring SLA adherence and on‑time completion
  • Manage inventory imbalances in line with team KPIs, delegating actions and holding cross‑functional partners accountable
  • Independently solve complex inventory issues with minimal direction, mitigating risk and business impact
  • Drive timely stakeholder action to reduce financial exposure and ensure accurate, on‑time completion of deliverables
  • Document and communicate inventory findings and insights to leadership on a weekly and monthly cadence
  • Own the execution of special projects and value‑added services (VAS) across the distribution network, ensuring work is planned, prioritized, and completed within operational capacity
  • Monitor DC performance and project execution to achieve business objectives without disrupting core operations
  • Communicate project status clearly, tracking progress against milestones and escalating risks as needed
  • Analyze inventory KPIs and performance metrics to inform data‑driven decision‑making
  • Serve as a key liaison between operations and cross‑functional teams, translating inventory data into actionable insights
  • Proactively identify risks, escalate issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives across inventory operations

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Strong technical aptitude, with comfort partnering directly with IT and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • A problem‑solving mindset, leveraging analytical skills to navigate complexity and ambiguity with minimal direction
  • Proven ability to organize workloads, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet deadlines
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to partner cross‑functionally and understand diverse business needs
  • Clear and confident communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Knowledge of Store Operations and MCS is considered a strong asset
  • An adaptable, growth‑oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
