This position involves working with a high-performing team of Specialty Lines Claims professionals, managing Surety claims such as Contract Surety, Commercial Surety, Developer Surety, and Home Warranty.

Reporting to the Surety Claims Manager, you will be part of our National Surety Claims Department, working in a results-driven environment to meet profitability and business objectives, and to achieve high stakeholder satisfaction.

Responsibilities include :

• Handling complex surety bond claims, assessing coverage, liability, and recovery activities.
• Maintaining relationships with Surety Underwriting and clients.
• Developing strategies for claims resolution.
• Managing insolvencies and dealing with Trustees / Receivers.
• Negotiating and problem-solving to resolve claims.
• Organizing documentation and documenting claim strategies.
• Coordinating with legal counsel and managing expenses.
• Driving departmental initiatives and maintaining stakeholder communication.
