The Role : As an RN in ICU, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. Working with a team of healthcare professionals, you will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and respond to emergencies, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care.
Responsibilities :
Provide regular updates to doctors, patients, and their families.
Initiate and monitor treatments and medication dosages.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and alert the appropriate doctors as needed.
Address patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU.
Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation before transferring patients.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Develop and implement effective care plans.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Current, unrestricted RN license in your province.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
Current BLS, CPR, ACLS, CTAS, and PALS certifications.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Knowledge of electronic medical records and computer proficiency.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
