If you are committed and collaborative professional looking to contribute to a hard-working, innovative team, this opportunity is for you. The Journeyman HVAC / Refrigeration Mechanic is located in Calgary, Alberta reporting to the HVAC Service Operations Supervisor and requires travel to surrounding areas. The Journeyman HVAC / Refrigeration Mechanic is primarily responsible for the efficient operations and maintenance to a variety of HVAC equipment. The position includes, but is not limited to, installation, identifying the cause of malfunctioning parts / equipment, repair, inspection, etc. Working directly with customers to ensure they are completely satisfied with the work required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine predictive planned maintenance duties
• Complete work orders and deficiency reports
• Assemble and install refrigeration and air conditioning components
• Install, troubleshoot, and overhaul entire heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Test heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems for leaks
• Repair and replace components for entire heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
• Reading and interpreting blueprints
• Starting up and shutting down major building equipment seasonally
• Handle, recover and store refrigerants
• Test and repair electronic components
• Other duties as required
