  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with WSP’s values.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure quality and consistency across projects.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in healthcare, education, transportation, science & technology, and light industrial sectors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building lasting relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Lead or support proposals, presentations, and other business development initiatives.
  • Oversee mechanical system design (HVAC, plumbing & drainage, fire protection) from concept to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with National, Provincial, and Municipal codes and project specifications.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and design approaches to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions.

  • Registered P.Eng. in British Columbia (required).
  • 10+ years of experience in consulting mechanical engineering, with proven leadership and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong business development skills and ability to grow market share.
  • Experience with major projects in healthcare or institutional sectors is preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit MEP proficiency highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the BC Interior market and Okanagan projects is an asset.
  • PSPC Reliability Clearance, PMP designation, and LEED accreditation are assets.
  • Why Choose WSP?

  • Proudly Canadian – we are a Top 100 Employer in Canada for 2026
  • A global community of brilliant minds – your next idea, mentor, or opportunity is always within reach.
  • Limitless opportunities start here. Whether it’s across the country or around the globe, we’ll help you tailor your role to match your ambition—because your growth drives ours.
  • Flexible work, real balance – we recognize the importance of balance in our lives and encourage you to prioritize the balance in yours. #WeAreWSP
