Job description

Polyglass USA, Inc. , a premier roofing materials manufacturer, has an opening for a Territory Manager , ideally located in the British Columbia / Greater Vancouver area. This position is primarily responsible for promoting and selling entire mix of Polyglass products in his / her territory while developing relationships with distribution, consultants, contractors, and architects. In addition to meeting a monthly budgeted sales plan, the DSM will help forecast trends and acquire competitive information. The DSM will drive and promote the Polyglass brand by participating in local RCI and NRCA chapter meetings and will support regional and companywide projects when needed.

What You Get To Do :

  • Maintains existing sales and grows additional sales at the current customer base under the direction of the RSL or RMM.
  • Explores leads that are in an assigned geographical sales region.
  • Uses basic troubleshooting skills to handle minor day-to-day problem-solving at assigned customers in the sales region.
  • Reports product problems, competitive activities, and new sales opportunities at existing accounts in the sales region.
  • Provides timely reports from the field.
  • Promotes the quality system by adhering to the elements of and being familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and procedures.
  • Promotes health, safety, and environmental regulations by ensuring that standards, policies, and procedures comply with corporate, federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Advanced negotiation and interpersonal skills.

What We Look For :

  • Requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • A minimum of two - five years of industry experience as a sales representative or any equivalent combination of related training and experience is required.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Travel is required.
