Job summary

Main duties of the job
To install, maintain, service and repair the full range of estates specialist equipment, plant and infrastructure.Provide technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.Undertake condition surveys, evaluates inspection reportsAct in the role of Competent Person / Responsible Person, as defined by Health Technical Memorandum.
Candidates must be professional in all aspects with a desire to develop and improve. If successful they will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team performing a wide range of duties covering all aspects of Electrical maintenance and installation.
Candidates must have a positive customer focused attitude with a desire to improve and undertake condition surveys, evaluates inspection reports.Candidates must have completed a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship, be self-motivated with a desire to develop new skills and flexible to meet the demands of a large acute hospital.
