Licensed Practical Nurse

We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses. Full time, part time and casual work available.

28.43 to $32.98 / hour plus benefits / vacation as outlined in the HEABC NBA Provincial Collective Agreement. Portability from BC Health Authorities is recognized.

The Licensed Practical Nurse promotes the quality of life of people living at Mount St. Mary Hospital by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care for their own assignment within the full scope of practice as determined by the BCCNM current legislative scope of practice and Hospital Policy. Maintains an environment of resident centered care by enabling resident choice, individualized care, resident and family involvement in care decisions. Collaborates with members of the Resident Care Team and House Team to provide a service that meets Resident Care Standards.

Qualifications include : Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current full practicing license with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
