Position : Permanent Full-TimeShift : day (38.75 h / w)Salary : 24,36$ to 27,24$ per hour according to years of experience. Under the supervision of the Technical Services Manager, the Facility superintendent is responsible for managing the Hospital's physical security. He / she knows and respects the policies and procedures related to his / her duties, in order to ensure compliance with the Hospital's security rules. Together with members of Technical Services, he / she ensures the smooth running of the Hospital by making more specific rounds in the mechanical / electrical rooms. He / she manages security as well as the reception of the Hospital when agreed. Finally, he / she responds to alarms and security codes. He / she must be able to adapt his / her work to unforeseen needs and circumstances, and in any emergency situation (e.g. : water damage, alarm system, anti-fugue, etc.). Responsabilities : - Carries out building rounds and keeps records up to date;- Manages building alarms and dispatches them to the appropriate departments;- Manages reception and security on a daily basis.- Manages the fire alarm system on a daily basis;- Administers access card system- Announce and respond to security codes;- Incident reporting;- Trains new employees on safety and incident prevention rules;- Handles calls related to the reception department;- Greets SIM and SPVM in case of emergency.- May be called upon to work "on-call" outside normal working hours;- Performs any other related duties as requested by immediate supervisor. Qualifications : Academic requirements
- High school diploma (DES)
- Agent's license (guarding) from a competent authorityExperience
- Proven experience in facility supervision
- Working knowledge of hospital operations and security, an important assetKey competencies
