Position Summary

In accordance with the established vision, mission, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health (NH), the Coordinator, HCAAP leads, develops, coordinates and implements strategic and transparent business processes in the Health Career Access and Associated Programs portfolio, which includes organizational management of NH employee ‘Earn and Learn’ student recruitment, onboarding, clinical placements, for students within the cohort streams of the portfolio. The Coordinator, HCAAP is responsible for ensuring centralized processes are in place to support Earn and Learn programs and meet NH’s operational training needs and workforce challenges. This position acts as liaison for cultivating environments of mutual collaboration between educational institutions, Northern Health practice environments and administrative departments, with the ultimate goal of supporting NH employee career pathways, learning and professional development, as well as recruitment and retention of health care professionals. The Coordinator has a specific focus on coordinating and collaborating with the HCAAP team to support the student experience including recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, orientation, retention and transition of the student learner past graduation into a return of service period within NH operational services.
Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
