Job description
CIUSSS de l'Estrie - CHUS is seeking a healthcare assistant to join their team. The base pay range for this position is CA$27.07 / hr - CA$36.14 / hr.
Responsibilities
The healthcare assistant will participate in the realization of a set of nursing care in collaboration with the care team. They will contribute to the evaluation of the user's state of health and the realization of the care plan, provide nursing care and well-being, and medical treatments, with the goal of maintaining health, restoring it, and preventing disease.
The healthcare assistant will also participate in teaching users and their loved ones.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must hold a diploma of professional studies (DEP) in health, assistance, and nursing from a school recognized by the competent ministry. They must also be a member of the Order of Nursing Assistants of Quebec.

Work Location
The successful candidate will be required to work in one of the following territories : HAUT-SAINT-FRANÇOIS (East Angus, Cookshire, Weedon, La Patrie), DES SOURCES (Val-des-Sources), SHERBROOKE (Sherbrooke), COATICOOK (Coaticook), or VAL SAINT-FRANCOIS (Windsor, Richmond, Valcourt).
Availability
The minimum availability required is two (2) work shifts out of three (3) and this, seven (7) days out of two (2) weeks, including one weekend out of two.
