As an Intermediate Hardware Design Engineer , you will play a critical role in our engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and testing of advanced hardware systems for power grid automation and high-voltage instrumentation. Your responsibilities will include circuit design, PCB development, embedded hardware integration, and system-level validation.
This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects with a high degree of autonomy and influence. As part of a close-knit, cross-functional team, you'll help shape the direction of our hardware products and bring innovative solutions to life.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design and test analog and digital circuits for embedded systems and power grid applications
- Develop and review PCB designs and layouts for embedded hardware solutions
- Collaborate with software teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components
- Conduct hardware testing, including debugging, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes
- Design and implement test benches for hardware validation and automated testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements for NuGrid products
- Support continuous improvement by proposing and implementing design optimizations
- Maintain thorough documentation of hardware designs, test results, and other relevant materials
- Participate in the development of product prototypes, from concept to production
