Job description3+ years of experience in full-cycle real estate accounting, including final recoveries, audits, forecasting, budgeting, and lease interpretation. Accounting degree or diploma required; professional designation (CPA) an asset. Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas). Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a flexible, solution‑oriented approach. Yardi Voyager 7S experience is an asset. Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of real estate assets.
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals for revenue, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including revenue and expense variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Coordinate and prepare annual budgets and full-year estimates in collaboration with internal teams.
- Prepare year‑end CAM and tax invoices and working papers for external audits.
- Set up and maintain Yardi final recovery module for timely tenant billing.
- Review Yardi tenant abstracts for accuracy and approve monthly rent rolls.
- Assist with acquisition and disposition processes, including due diligence.
- Support training initiatives as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
