Are you a seasoned HSSE leader seeking a new and exciting opportunity? Our client is searching for an accomplished Director of HSSE to spearhead their team of safety professionals. If you possess extensive senior-level experience in HSSE, particularly within industrial environments, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact, overseeing HSSE initiatives across various locations in Canada and the United States. Your responsibilities will include crafting and implementing robust HSSE policies, nurturing a team of professionals, and fostering a culture of safety and regulatory compliance. You’ll also be tasked with conducting thorough audits, staying up to date with HSSE regulations, and serving as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies in both countries.
As the ideal candidate you have a minimum of 5-10 years of senior level leadership experience in HSSE, a post-secondary education in a relevant field would be considered an asset. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll be tasked with influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
