L’Express Communication Marketing is an advertising agency established in Montreal since . We are primarily focused on retail advertising, including print production (flyers, magazines, and all point-of-sale materials), direct marketing (personalized mailings and direct marketing pieces), digital marketing (website development, e-commerce management, promotional landing pages, web banners, videos, etc.), as well as digital media placement. The selected candidate will handle approximately 50% creative work and 50% implementation.
JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Under the supervision of the Creative Director, the Senior Graphic Designer will participate in the design and production of various print and digital visuals.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, fast, and efficient, while remaining attentive to client needs and respecting tight deadlines.
The role consists of approximately 50% creative work and 50% implementation.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
College diploma in Graphic Design, Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects) on Mac OS. Excellent understanding of the WordPress environment.
Bilingualism (English/French), both spoken and written, is considered an asset.
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS
Full proficiency with Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop); intermediate use of Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Ability to create visuals and graphic concepts while ensuring client brand compliance, under the supervision of the Creative Director.
Ability to creatively adapt concepts that have already been developed.
Ability to design digital materials (newsletters, static and animated banners, GIFs, videos, microsites, landing pages, etc.).
Intermediate knowledge of HTML and WordPress is a strong asset.
Understanding of relationship marketing.
Ensure smooth project execution and follow-up from start to finish, while respecting deadlines and budgets.
Strong knowledge of prepress techniques.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong sense of organization, responsibility, and prioritization.
Flexibility and sound judgment.
Eagerness to continuously update knowledge and skills.
