Job description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Forklift Operator (Dual/Quad) to join a fast-paced warehouse environment for our client in Ajax, ON. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy setting, values safety, and takes pride in maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
  • Pay Rate: $ 25.00/hour
  • Location: Ajax, ON
  • Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Operate dual/quad forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment in compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Complete safety checklists accurately and on time
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace following "clean as you go" practices
  • Handle materials and lift up to 55 lbs consistently throughout the day
  • Follow company quality systems and ensure compliance with SQF standards
  • Build strong relationships with team members and customers
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management to support operations
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
  • Knowledge of transport packaging and production-based warehouse processes
  • Understanding of food safety practices
  • Familiarity with 5S / lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
