Job Title : Yard Forklift Operator

Job Description

The Yard Forklift Operator will spend approximately 50-60% of their time moving products around the yard using a sit-down propane forklift. They will spend about 20% of their day staging orders by picking parts using an overhead crane, loading them into metal crates, and staging them at the shipping door. The remaining time will be spent using SAP to enter information for shipping and inventory purposes. The role requires close coordination with vendors to ensure downhole tools are sent out on time and managing any deficiencies with internal teams or customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down propane forklift to move products around the yard.
• Pick parts using an overhead crane and load them into metal crates.
• Stage orders at the shipping door.
• Enter shipping and inventory information into SAP.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure timely dispatch of downhole tools.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to address any deficiencies.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a shop, warehouse, and yard, with approximately 30+ individuals in the shop. The team is diverse, outgoing, and close-knit, with a strong focus on hands-on training and development. The work itself can be dirty, but the shop is kept clean. One of the positions will be 100% outside while the other will mostly be in the shop. The shift is from 7 : 30 am to 3 : 30 pm, with extended shifts averaging about 48 hours per week. Flexibility to work every other Saturday is required to keep up with the busy workload.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 / hr.
