Job description

Randstad is seeking a General Laborer for a temporary to permanent position in Edmonton South. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company with opportunities for advancement. This is a Monday to Friday position with the unique opportunity to work nights and enjoy daytime hours off. If you are a hardworking individual who enjoys manual labor and working in a team environment, this may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Position : General Laborer

Shift : Monday to Friday, 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Salary : $21 / hour

Location : Edmonton South

Responsibilities

Operating a machine used to cut metal pipes

Working safely to avoid injury to self and others

Taking cut metal pipe off the press line, palletizing, and banding for the forklift

Shipping and receiving of material

Material handling up to 50 lbs.

Reporting any unsafe acts, conditions, or defects in equipment

Qualifications

Previous machine operation and general labor experience

Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail

2 supervisory references

Ability to pass drug and alcohol and criminal record checks
