Our client is looking for a qualified Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in the not for profit industry. The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing a small team through month end activities as well as preparing and updating financial records and reports to be presented to senior leadership and the board. As a Financial Reporting Manager, your job duties would involve preparing documents, verifying their accuracy, and collaborating with the accounting department and legal team to ensure compliance with all financial regulations. This career requires experience in finance and a bachelor’s degree in a finance related field. Additional qualifications include strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. The majority of these positions are available with financial institutions, insurance companies, and government agencies.
Job Requirements :
- 5+ years accounting experience
- Not for profit industry experience ideal
- Leadership skills required
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance
- CPA required
- Collaborative
- Keen attention to detail
- Software savvy, particularly with Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience with system conversion ideal
