We are seeking an experienced professional for an open role within the insurance industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support and enhance the operations of a global internal audit function by contributing to strategic initiatives quality assurance and reporting efforts. Incorporated Business Rate : $52.00 per hour.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position : 37.50 hours per week.
Work schedule from 9 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm with occasional evening availability for collaboration with international teams.

Responsibilities :
Lead and implement the Internal Audit Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) ensuring quality and consistency across the department.
Conduct independent quality assessments including selfassessments file reviews and targeted reviews providing balanced reporting to senior management.
Identify and implement best practices by leveraging insights from external organizations regulatory guidance and peer collaborations.
Design and deliver training programs and develop innovative methodologies for targeted reviews aligned with industry trends and organizational goals.
Support key projects and strategic initiatives such as audit transformations methodology updates and the integration of digital tools.
Collaborate with global teams to enhance processes tools and reporting frameworks including KPI and issue reporting.
Assist in the preparation of critical reports for senior management such as quarterly controls reports to the Audit Committee.
What you will need to succeed :
CIA CPA or equivalent designation (certification required).
5 years of audit experience including quality assurance in the financial services sector.
Profound knowledge of internal audit practices regulatory standards and leading industry practices.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and challenge senior audit executives.
Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Demonstrated analytical problemsolving and quantitative skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Archer is highly desirable.
High ethical standards and resilience under pressure.
