Job description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Manager Financial Reporting for our integrated services client based in central GTA, you will be required to maintain and prepare IFRS financial records and reports, coordinate translations (English / Hebrew), and manage various financial statements and disclosures. You will also handle the preparation of memos on accounting issues, review financial statements for correct currency translations, and manage the SOX process.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the maintenance and preparation of IFRS financial records and reports
  • Coordinate translations between languages (English / Hebrew)
  • Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements and notes disclosures in line with IFRS
  • Prepare memos for researched accounting issues following IFRS and best practices
  • Review financial statements for correct currency translations
  • Oversee the SOX process and coordinate with the company’s internal auditor
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial information requests and coordinate information requests with the internal auditor
  • Compile and file various corporate governance documents, such as annual reports
  • Manage and monitor the process of preparing the company’s annual budget, including the development projects budget and the corporate budget
  • Resolve technical or IT issues related to accounting reporting and propose solutions, especially in Excel
  • Support the CFO and the controller with the compilation of various tax compliance, including various provincial, state, and federal tax requirements, in collaboration with tax consultants.
  • CPA designation
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of IFRS
  • Languages – Hebrew and English, full proficiency is required
  • Self-motivated, eager to excel and able to take on initiatives
  • Superior analytical and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent computer knowledge, specifically MS Excel and MS Word
  • Strong team player, as well as able to work independently
