Your role will involve providing key financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to help drive revenue growth, improve customer retention, and optimize the profitability of each function. You will support strategic decision-making through detailed financial models and insights tailored to the needs of each commercial function, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall financial goals. Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Performance Support : Provide financial support and analysis for the Sales organization. Monitor sales performance, including new bookings, renewals, and upsells. Analyze key SaaS metrics such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), customer lifetime value (LTV), and churn.
- Sales Incentive Plan Analysis : Assist in the design, implementation, and analysis of sales compensation plans, ensuring they drive desired behaviors and align with financial goals. Monitor actual sales performance against incentive targets.
- Commercial Spend Forecasting : Work with the Commercial team to forecast monthly, yearly, and long- term expenses including headcount, variable costs, and commissions. Create a strong foundation of partnership with business leaders to be the trusted associate for all expense related inquiries.
- Pricing Strategy & Analysis : Support the Sales and Marketing teams in evaluating and refining pricing strategies. Perform financial modeling to assess the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability. Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, financial reporting, or related roles. SaaS or tech industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Expertise in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with financial modeling.
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS) and corporate finance concepts, particularly in cash flow management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Key Metrics for Success :
- Accuracy of expense forecasts and alignment with Commercial team goals.
- Improvement in key SaaS metrics, including churn, LTV, CAC, and customer retention.
- Effective cost management and profitability analysis for Commercial teams
