Our esteemed client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team in Calgary. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization. This role involves FP&A, compliance and controls, and ERP implementation support.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Record all required month end entries
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST Reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform reconciliations of various accounts to maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Review bi-monthly payroll submission payroll
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely ASPE-compliant financial statements and monthly reporting package with variance analysis
- Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Responsible for cash flow forecast
- Lead the annual budgeting process
- Lead and support ERP implementations and migration from current ERO
- Ensure organizational compliance with statutory requirements, including CRA filings (payroll remittances, GST / HST), revenue recognition
- Lead the annual financial statement review process with external auditors
- Maintain external relationships with vendors
