Job Description :
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Finance Manager to assume a leadership role within a large well known Not For Profit organization. Reporting into a Director, this is a high visibility role that will provide growth potential and constant learning opportunities. The Finance Manager will be expected to assume responsibility for the financial operations of the division company in addition to the performance reporting obligations to Ontario Health. The underlying division is a medium sized division experiencing significant growth making a positive impact on the community. The role will be hybrid with 2-3 days a week from the company’s North York office.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manger include but not limited to :
- Financial reporting : Prepare monthly internal financials, quarterly board reporting packages, supervise and review transaction journals, post and maintain monthly accruals for material balances
- Finance transformation : Design and implement a month-end financial reporting process to fulfil expanded reporting requirements, assess the current financial reporting infrastructure and make recommendations for improvements
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) : Provide financial analysis and insights to support business planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives. Develop unit economics for key performance indicators and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts
- Grant administration : Administer grants received for various programs
