Reporting to the Director, Business Investments, this position is responsible for evaluating strategic and operational initiatives using data analytics and applying business acumen, to work with various teams.
This position can be based either in Richmond or Coquitlam, BC.
Key Accountabilities
- Provides financial and operational analysis for strategic projects and operational optimization initiatives
- Prepares PowerPoint presentations to communicate those initiatives and financial / operational performance reports to senior executives and Board in a visually engaging manner
- Develops analyses and prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly materials in support of senior executives and investor meetings
- Performs FP&A functions (particularly around month-end and quarterly-end periods) as well as analyses to improve commercial / operational performance
- Develops complex and comprehensive financial models for the gaming / hospitality industry
- Designs and prepares executive reporting package for the senior management team and Board identifying changes to the business plan and forecasts
- Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational, treasury, and financial reporting personnel and departments
- Participate in cross-function meetings to provide support in the preparation of the corporate annual budget presentation to senior executives and Board of Directors
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
