Opportunity Description :
You are passionate about the breast cancer cause, well-connected in your community, and enjoy event planning. The ideal candidate for this volunteer role has a positive attitude, communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of self-motivation and time management. Knowledge / experience in any of the following is considered an asset. You will be responsible for : Building / executing a local marketing and media relations plan to promote the event across multiple channels, using approved materials. Ensuring all marketing, communications, and branding abide by the CIBC Run for the Cure Visual Identity Guidelines and CCS Writing Manual. Leveraging the Media Toolkit to promote the event to local media outlets. Developing a social media strategy to promote the event, in collaboration with the Social Media Coordinator (if applicable). Ensuring all social media responsibilities are completed if the Social Media Coordinator role remains vacant.
