MatchBox Consulting Group are seeking a highly organized and reliable Equipment Manager to join our clients team in Vancouver.
The Equipment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, maintenance, and management of all equipment required for operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. You will play a key role in ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards, operational efficiency is maximized, and safety protocols are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Equipment Procurement & Management : Oversee the acquisition, inventory, and allocation of equipment and tools required for day-to-day operations.
- Maintenance & Repairs : Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment is operating at peak efficiency. Coordinate repairs and service schedules to minimize downtime.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure that all equipment is maintained in compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Inventory Control : Manage inventory levels, track usage, and reorder equipment and parts as necessary to avoid shortages.
- Budgeting & Cost Control : Work within established budget constraints, tracking equipment-related expenditures and providing cost-effective solutions for purchasing and maintenance.
- Staff Training : Provide guidance and training to staff on the proper use, handling, and maintenance of equipment.
- Reporting & Documentation : Keep accurate records of equipment status, repairs, inspections, and other relevant data. Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management.
