We are growing our team and have an opportunity for an Environmental Technician to support our operational and consulting projects through hands-on fieldwork and office-based tasks across BC and Alberta. This role is ideal for a motivated, mechanically inclined self-starter whos passionate about sustainability and eager to learn alongside experienced professionals while helping advance SYLVISs mission to Make Waste History.

Environmental Technician Position

The BC-based Environmental Technician position is an opportunity to gain hands on experience in the environmental industry and learn alongside experienced professionals. Join a growing team who are passionate about the SYLVIS mission to Make Waste History through sustainable residuals management. The focus of the Environmental Technician role is to implement our operational and consulting project requirements both in the field and the office. You are a self-starter known for your organizational skills and work ethic. You are someone who enjoys time in the field (no matter the weather), is mechanically inclined, and keen to travel to project sites throughout BC and AB. If you are passionate about sustainability, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and value continuous improvement, you'll fit right in.
