Job description

A nationwide Canadian financial services and insurance enterprise is seeking experienced Senior Salesforce Developers based in the Greater Vancouver area to join a high-performing agile delivery squad. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Owners, systems architects, and cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and maintain enterprise-grade applications. Guided by a pragmatic "just enough, just in time" development strategy, you will leverage industry best practices to build secure, robust software within a modern DevOps framework.

Avantages
Flexible Hybrid Remote Setup: Work remotely from the Vancouver area, with periodic local on-site visits for key collaborative milestones.

Modern Technology Stack: Hands-on engagement with advanced Salesforce ecosystems, modern integration platforms, and automated continuous delivery pipelines.

Contract Stability with Growth: Initial 6-month assignment with strong potential for recurring extensions based on project roadmaps.

Collaborative Community: Work within a structured Center of Excellence (CoE) alongside skilled technical peers and industry specialists.

Responsabilités
Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to evaluate, refine, and translate functional operational needs into robust technical solutions.

Architect, write, configure, and integrate application components following software design patterns, data architecture standards, and IT security protocols.

Deliver high-quality, secure code embedded with automated unit and integration tests across the entire development lifecycle through to production.

Actively engage in peer code reviews, technical architecture sessions, and knowledge-sharing to elevate team-wide development standards.

Maintain and optimize CI/CD release pipelines to support seamless deployment cycles without operational disruption.

Provide post-deployment technical support, continuous monitoring, and bug remediation for production applications.

Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contribute to defining the Definition of Done (DoD), and maintain clear technical documentation to ensure long-term solution sustainability.

Qualifications
Core Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on software development experience with Salesforce, specifically featuring Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud.

Salesforce Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Apex programming, platform configuration, front-end development (Lightning Web Components, HTML, JavaScript, CSS), and relational data modeling.

Education: Diploma, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Agile & DevOps: Solid grounding in Agile/Scrum methodologies, Azure DevOps, Git version control, and automated release practices.

Architecture & Security: Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (SOLID principles), integration methodologies (APIs, event-driven architecture), SQL Server, and security frameworks (OAuth).

Desirable Assets: Hands-on exposure to Salesforce Data 360, Agentforce/Einstein, MuleSoft, Apache Kafka, or Azure cloud infrastructure and container technologies.

Language Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Sommaire
Role: Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in the Vancouver area; occasional local travel required)

Duration: Initial 6-month contract (renewable)

Positions Available: 3
