Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Business / IT Strategy Development and Planning : Collaborate with stakeholders to design and align business and IT strategies.
Application and Technology Portfolio Management and Rationalization : Lead the evaluation and optimization of the enterprise application and technology landscape.
Budget Planning : Develop multi-year capital and operational budget plans, including total cost of ownership projections.
Business Capability Planning : Analyze, develop, and manage organizational business capabilities.
Architectural Governance and Standards Development : Design and implement governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure architectural consistency and quality.
Enterprise Risk Management : Identify and address potential risks across business and IT domains.

Minimum Qualifications :

Enterprise Architect Experience : Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in the public sector.

TOGAF Certification : Certification in TOGAF 9 or newer. Applicants must provide details of their TOGAF version, certification date, and Personal Information Code (for private accounts).

Enterprise Architecture Frameworks : Demonstrated experience across all architecture domains (business, information, application, technology, security).

Additional Skills & Experience :

Architecture Practice Maturity : Developing and maturing enterprise architecture practices.

Portfolio Management : Leading application and technology portfolio lifecycle management.

Business Capabilities : Planning, developing, and managing business capabilities.

IT Services and Roadmaps : Aligning business and technology services with enterprise roadmaps.

Governance Frameworks : Designing and implementing technical governance structures.

Facilitation Skills : Collaborating with business and IT partners, as well as third-party vendors.

Strategic Planning : Facilitating enterprise planning, consulting with leadership, and developing consolidated roadmaps.

IT Service Management : Designing IT service management and orchestration processes.

Budget Planning : Project multi-year capital and operational budgets.

Change Management : Leading organizational design and change management initiatives.

Enterprise Architecture Tools : Experience with Orbus iServer suite or equivalent tools is an asset.

Required Deliverables / Artifacts :

The selected Enterprise Architect will produce :

Business / IT strategy development and planning documentation.

Business application and technology portfolio rationalization reports.

Multi-year capital and operational budget plans.

Business capability development and planning materials.

Architectural governance frameworks and standards.

Enterprise risk management strategies.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in project and portfolio prioritization.

Expertise in aligning enterprise information and technology with long-term roadmaps.

Proven track record in multi-year IT planning and financial management.
