Enterprise Architect
Location : Regina, Saskatchewan | Contract
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect for a 3 Year Contract position in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
The anticipated start date is April 1, 2025.
This position is a 100% onsite role with a requirement to work in-person at the client’s office in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Role Description
Our client is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping business and IT strategies, architectural frameworks, and long-term, enterprise-level strategic plans and management initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with senior IT leadership to enhance the organization’s capabilities in technology and services planning, strategy development, application and technology portfolio management, enterprise risk management, and technology governance, including policies and standards.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and implement business and IT strategies that drive organizational growth and innovation
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that IT initiatives support evolving business needs while identifying opportunities for innovation and operational efficiency
- Lead the evaluation, management, and optimization of the organization’s application and technology portfolios
- Lead operational budget planning, including forecasting total cost of ownership for IT initiatives
- Ensure alignment with enterprise goals by identifying redundancies, prioritizing investments, and recommending strategies for technology modernization and consolidation
- Develop and manage business capabilities to align with strategic objectives and operational needs
- Establish and enforce robust governance frameworks to guide architectural decision-making
- Develop, implement, and maintain standards, policies, and best practices that ensure consistent, secure, and efficient technology usage across the enterprise
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to enterprise IT systems, business operations, and strategic initiatives
- Implement proactive risk management strategies and controls to ensure organizational resilience and regulatory compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated experience working as an Enterprise Architect in the public sector in North America is requiredCertification in TOGAF 9 or newer is strongly desiredExperience working with government or comparable entities, as it relates to the technical and business landscapeDemonstrated experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and practice development across all domains such as business, information, application, technology, securityDemonstrated experience facilitating enterprise planning, consulting with business and IT leadership and leading the development of consolidated roadmapsDemonstrated experience leading application, technology portfolio and lifecycle managementDemonstrated experience leading the design and development of IT service management and orchestrationDemonstrated experience with design of IT governance frameworks and standards developmentDemonstrated experience with project and portfolio prioritization and managementDemonstrated experience with multi-year capital and operating budget planning, including projections for total cost of ownershipDemonstrated experience with organizational design and change management practicesDemonstrated experience with Orbus iServer suite of enterprise architecture tools would be considered an assetPlease note that while all applications are appreciated, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
