This position plays a critical leadership role in improving plant reliability, reducing supply disruptions, standardizing best practices, and leading cross‑functional dry ice projects across multiple regions and sites. Due to the nature of exempt roles, work hours may extend beyond the standard schedule when necessary to meet organizational demands, leadership responsibilities, and business objectives. This may include occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends, depending on the role and the needs of the business.

What we offer you!

·Competitive compensation

·401(k) retirement savings plan

·Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO)

·Employee discount programs

·Opportunities for educational and professional growth

·Additional compensation may vary depending on the position and organizational level

Key Responsibilities

Own and drive reliability strategy for LG&E’s dry ice production network, ensuring consistent supply to internal and external customers.

Partner with plant managers, operations leaders, and engineering teams to identify root causes of reliability issues and implement corrective actions.

Establish and track key reliability KPIs, sharing insights and action plans with leadership.

Support safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all dry ice operations.

Lead national dry ice projects, including plant decap projects, expansions, equipment replacements, CO₂ recovery initiatives, and process improvements.

Manage full project lifecycle: scope definition, capital justification, schedules, execution, commissioning, and post‑implementation review.

Drive consistent operating standards, maintenance practices, and reliability processes across all dry ice plants.

Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, cost, productivity, and customer service.

Act as a key liaison between Dry Ice Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Commercial, and corporate teams.

Support commercial growth initiatives by ensuring operational readiness for new customers, products, and markets.

Influence without direct authority, building alignment and accountability across regions and sites.

Prepare and present clear updates to senior leadership on reliability performance, risks, and project progress.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, reliability, project management, or engineering within a manufacturing, industrial gases, chemicals, or related environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross‑site or national‑scale operational initiatives.
  • Proven ability to diagnose operational issues and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Strong program and project management discipline
  • Executive‑level communication and stakeholder management
