We are hiring Project Coordinators to support our construction operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, ambitious, safety-conscious and comfortable taking initiative. As a Project Coordinator, you'll work closely with both field and office teams, supporting projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on position with direct involvement in day-to-day site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between project managers, office staff, subcontractors and field crews.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture. Complete inspections, toolbox talks, track compliance and ensure all paperwork is complete.
- Manage locate requests (including first calls), monitor validity periods and ensure information is communicated and understood by crews before work proceeds.
- Understand project budgets and monitor costs as the work progresses. Review final costs against estimates.
- Actively assist with onsite labour tasks, training and day to day field support as required.
- Assist with resource planning including material quantities, equipment needs and crew scheduling.
- Attend project meetings and communicate changes as required.
- Review drawings and job scope documents, assist with site measurements, grades, survey support and documentation.
- Track QC testing, sample availability and ensure results are communicated promptly.
