Provide diagnostic procedures to technicians and customers to limit vehicle downtime and improve the reliability of our product; Create and improve diagnostic tools; Master the operation of vehicles and understand the need for use of the products by our customers; Propose solutions to mitigate short and / or long term problems; Master the electrical infrastructure of our vehicles in order to support the teams; Analyze data from vehicles in order to propose corrective actions; Work in collaboration with other engineering departments to improve the reliability of our vehicles; Implement correction and modification tracking plans; Review and approve recalls and service bulletins; Any other related stains. Knowledge of electric vehicles or high voltage architectures; Knowledge of automobile mechanics, an asset; Knowledge of software : OpenECU, Iqan Design, CATIA electrical system design, an asset; Advanced skills with MS Office suite. Good written and oral communication skills (French and English); This position requires intermediate or advanced knowledge of English, spoken and written on a daily basis, in order to communicate with suppliers and colleagues located outside of Quebec. Ability to communicate effectively; Demonstrate a good analytical mind; Demonstrate a good spirit of synthesis; Show rigor; Demonstrate good team spirit. Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; 5 years of relevant experience (preferably in the transportation industry); Experience in interpreting technical drawings and electrical diagrams; Experience with CAN bus and “diagnostic trouble code” (DTC) analysis; Experience with software for CAN analysis (Canalyser, PiSnoop or equivalent); Experience in collecting and analyzing data and diagnostics. Two positions are to be filled as an electrical engineer : The first position is available for a person with between 3 and 5 years of experience related to the position; The second position is available for a person with more than 5 years of experience related to the position. This position is face-to-face 3 days per week or more, depending on business needs.
