  • Develop procurement and contractual documentation, including request for qualification / proposal documentation, evaluation frameworks and commercial components of project agreements.
  • Support clients in the evaluation and negotiation stages of procurement processes.
  • Develop and implement project governance, project management frameworks and related project delivery resources.
  • Bring innovative thinking and problem solving to the challenges of major project planning and delivery.
  • Keep across current market trends and developments, to the benefit of the team and our clients.
  • Undertake project / engagement management and client communication and reporting.
  • Oversee the contributions of junior advisory personnel, provide on the job training and mentoring and contribute to the overall skills enhancement and experience of the team.
  • Assist in marketing and business development including proposal preparation and the development of client relationships.

What you bring to the role

  • Knowledge of the project and program lifecycle activities supporting an infrastructure asset.
  • Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies for major projects.
  • Experience with all contract types, particularly collaborative contracting models, such as alliancing and other 'progressive' models.
  • Experience in the application of commercial concepts to infrastructure procurement - including the development of risk allocations, payment mechanisms and incentive structures.
  • An ability to think critically, to manage ambiguity and synthesize advice into clear and succinct materials. This includes an ability to be flexible and adaptive to respond to client needs.
