Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Senior Project Manager to oversee ICI and residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning : Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Execution : Oversee the day-to-day operations of ICI and residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff, to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
Budget Management : Monitor and control project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
Scheduling : Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
Quality Assurance : Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of construction are met.
Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to address and resolve issues proactively.
Client Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Documentation : Maintain thorough project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
Compliance : Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Continuous Improvement : Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve project management processes.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on ICI and residential projects.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
Leadership : Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams effectively.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Problem-Solving : Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Client Focus : Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
