We define the industry standard for quality—unmatched in either breadth or scope. We manufacture, supply, transport and apply premium calcium chloride products for anti-icing, deicing and dust control. But that's not all. We also formulate custom fluids for, available for purchase or rental 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year. Tiger is actively seeking Class 1 Drivers, crucial members of our team, to drive a tractor-trailer unit and deliver calcium chloride to customer locations and field storage locations throughout Western Canada. What you will do in this role:
  • Operate tractor-trailer unit to deliver products to customers and field storage tanks.
  • Perform pre and post-trip on truck and trailer.
  • Accurate completion of E-Log, adhering to Federal Hours of Service.
  • Loading and unloading products.
  • Represent the company to the customer and the general public in a professional manner.
  • Accurate way-bill recording through TMW.
  • Completion of timesheets, fuel envelopes and mileage envelopes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Complete daily job hazard assessments.
  • Adhere and promote Tiger’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:
  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
  • Minimum 3 years of Super B driving experience.
  • 18 Speed experience is considered an asset.
  • Clean driver’s abstract.
  • Geographic knowledge of Western Canada.
  • Liquid bulk hauling, off-road driving, mountain driving, TMW program.
  • Experience working on CN Rail property will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to put tire chains on.
  • Knowledge of Federal Hours of Service.
  • Knowledge of running hydraulic pumps.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to change quickly.
  • Team player with the ability to communicate at an acceptable level with dispatch and customers.
