Randstad Professional is currently seeking two dedicated Records Specialists for a key on-site assignment in Quarry Park SE, Calgary. In this vital role, you will work within a busy file room setting, ensuring high-density physical records, sensitive legal documents, and corporate archives are accurately managed, sorted, scanned, and digitized. As a Records Specialist, you will be at the heart of our client’s document management workflow, taking physical records and converting them into structured, accessible digital files while maintaining strict security standards.

This position is tailored for a focused Records Specialist who enjoys active, hands-on administrative work in a modern office space. If you excel at data entry, document control, and physical filing, this opportunity allows you to sharpen your business administration skillset with a premier corporate employer in Calgary. Joining Randstad Professional means partnering with industry-leading recruitment experts who understand the job market and are committed to supporting your career growth every step of the way.

The following skills are essential for this position
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and alphanumeric filing systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency with standard desktop computers, office software, and electronic scanners.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to process high volumes of records efficiently.
• Reliable written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• Capability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive corporate documents.
• Self-motivated work ethic with the ability to perform repetitive physical tasks with consistency.

Advantages
• Competitive compensation of $19.00 per hour with predictable daytime working hours.
• Full-time day shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with weekends off.
• Work on-site at a premier corporate building located in Quarry Park SE, Calgary.
• Gain valuable hands-on experience in high-volume document control and business administration.
• Access weekly pay schedules and employee benefits through Randstad Professional.
• Dedicated support from expert Randstad recruitment specialists throughout your placement.

Responsibilities
• Perform active sorting, cataloging, and physical filing of incoming and existing paper documents.
• Prepare files for digitizing by removing staples, clips, and organizing sheets sequentially.
• Execute high-volume document scanning using advanced office computers and scanning devices.
• Complete fast and accurate data entry to index digital records into electronic document management systems.
• Safely handle, organize, load, and move file storage boxes weighing up to 25 lbs throughout the file room.
• Maintain meticulous file tracking records to ensure full audit compliance and document security.
• Collaborate with on-site administrative staff to streamline archive retrieval and storage processes.
• Uphold all health, safety, and operational guidelines within the corporate facility at all times.

Qualifications
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and carrying file boxes up to 25 lbs.
• Possession of safety steel-toe footwear required for file room navigation and box handling.
• Completion of a clear background check prior to commencing the placement.
• Agreement to sign a standard corporate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect document security.
• Previous experience in records management, data entry, scanning, or general office administration is an asset.

Summary
If you are ready to take on this exciting role and think you are the right fit, we want to hear from you!
