Overview

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. As an Associate of a Subleasing Doctor, the terms of agreement, practice model, pay and hours are negotiated directly between you and the Subleasing doctor.

LensCrafters is a part of Luxottica , a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of eyewear and eye care products. This opportunity is with a full-scope Independent LensCrafters practice inside a Luxottica-affiliated framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality optometric care and services to patients as part of an independent practice within the subleasing doctor’s office.
• Operate within the practice model agreed with the Subleasing Doctor and exercise professional autonomy in patient care, without company-imposed quotas or restrictions.
• Coordinate scheduling with the Subleasing Doctor, including flexible or part-time arrangements, as negotiated.
• Utilize available OD equipment and technology (e.g., digital eye examination tools) and participate with pre-testing support as provided by the practice location.
• Maintain patient records and deliver comprehensive optometric evaluations consistent with professional standards.

The practice operates with an Independent Doctor of Optometry, while Luxottica handles the optical dispensary operations. Pay, benefits, and hours are determined through direct negotiation with the Subleasing doctor.
