We are committed to safety, innovation, and excellence in everything we build.

As a Project Quality Manager, you will lead the implementation and oversight of quality assurance and control programs across major construction projects in Western Canada. You’ll ensure that all work meets or exceeds client expectations, regulatory requirements, and Kiewit’s rigorous standards.

One of the many things that makes Kiewit’s culture unique is that we go where the work is, which exposes your career to abundant opportunities. We relocate our teams based on the work that is available, combined with the development plans, skill sets and career goals of each team member. This means your Kiewit adventure is custom-designed to meet our shared needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality audits, inspections, and root cause analyses

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, codes, and standards

  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action processes

  • Train and mentor field staff on quality procedures and best practices

  • Interface with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies on quality matters

  • Maintain documentation and reporting for quality metrics and performance

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the district

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction quality management, preferably in infrastructure or industrial projects

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, CSA standards, and applicable codes

  • Proven leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to travel and work on-site across Western Canada

Other Requirements:
  • Regular, reliable attendance
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000
  • Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location
  • This position may be eligible for additional compensation including LOA, camp or travel allowances, etc. based on project conditions.
