Tundra Site Services is currently accepting resumes from HVAC / Refrigeration Mechanics for maintenance relief coverage. This shift isnt yet confirmed, but interested candidates should send resume and express interest in the dates so that we can keep them informed.
Job Description :
Maintaining various AC systems ranging from mini ductless splits to 40-ton air handlers.
Maintenance and repair of all kitchen equipment steamers, mixers, ovens as well as walk-in freezers and coolers.
Willingness to assist other trades as part of the Site Services Department.
Knowledge and experience with diesel-fired heaters and waste oil burner systems are an asset.
The remote, permanent camps are well-serviced and organized with excellent food, facilities, and safety programs.
Qualified candidates will be evaluated based on the following criteria :
Journeyman / Red Seal ticket in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
HVAC experience is an asset.
Willingness to travel / work in a remote camp environment
Ability to meet all pre-screening requirements including criminal record check, drug test and medical. (Full disclosure is the best policy, some items that you think may disqualify you may be tolerated depending on severity and history)
A strong commitment to site safety policy and procedures.
Strong verifiable references from previous employers.
Benefits : 12hrs workdays
Competitive wages
Tools, food, lodging and charter flights from Yellowknife and Calgary . Commercial flights from longer distances from the charter deployment cities can be discussed.
