Job description
The Opportunity:
Our client, a dynamic private equity firm, is seeking a Manager of Accounting to support strategic financial planning, reporting, and operational initiatives across its diverse portfolio, including manufacturing, business services, healthcare, technology, and real estate. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth environment and play a key role in driving financial performance.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial modeling to support decision-making and business growth
- Financial Reporting: Conduct variance analysis, KPI reporting, and trend analysis while ensuring compliance with IFRS and ASPE standards
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and consolidations
- Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Monitor working capital, manage bank positions and covenants, and oversee CapEx investments
- Audit & Compliance: Support external audits, design and test internal controls, and mitigate financial risks
- Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Prepare HST filings and assist with corporate tax requirements
What We Need From You:
- CPA designation required.
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, and full-cycle accounting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, ASPE, and financial modelling
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Power BI, and advanced Excel
- Experience in private equity, real estate, or investment management is an asset
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
