Job Description :

Join a well-established crown corporation in the financial services space. You will have a public service impact while working with a corporation that is dedicated to excellence. This role is hybrid out of their Ottawa or Toronto office.

Reporting into the CFO, this role is operational in nature but also has a strategic lens to oversee the financial team. The Director is responsible for :

• Full cycle accounting activities
• Financial reporting and planning functions
• Developing and presenting materials to Management and the Board of Directors
• Maintaining finance function and processes
• Ensuring governance and compliance
• Corporate accounting policy development
• Advise on financial issues and monitor emerging accounting issues
• Manage a high performing Finance team
