Job description
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in North York, Ontario, this role involves contributing to the development of robust and scalable solutions while working on both back-end and client-side scripting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in building efficient microservices, implementing clean architecture principles, and utilizing modern cloud technologies.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and optimize microservices architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Implement and maintain clean architecture and domain-driven design principles across projects.
- Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end components.
- Manage and optimize relational databases like Azure MySQL for high-performance applications.
- Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to streamline deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code methodologies using tools like Terraform.
- Ensure secure application development by adhering to best practices for OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and encryption.
- Establish and maintain CI / CD pipelines to support automated deployments and testing.
- Monitor distributed systems using appropriate logging and tracking tools to ensure reliability.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development roles.
- Advanced knowledge of C# and .NET Core for back-end development.
- Proficiency in client-side scripting languages, including JavaScript, React.js, and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of CSS and cross-platform development for responsive designs.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming and background processing techniques.
- Expertise in version control systems, including Git.
- Knowledge of cloud-based development and containerization technologies.
