NextGen Automation is seeking a full-time IT Support Engineer to join our growing team in the Vernon, Kelowna, and Kamloops region. In this role, you’ll provide both remote and onsite support to our business clients — resolving technical issues, implementing IT solutions, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
You’ll be part of a highly skilled team that delivers reliable, professional, and customer-focused IT services across Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming tickets and client communications through our service desk and onsite.
- Required onsite at client location 4 days a week.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for a wide range of IT systems.
- Perform onsite service calls for installations, maintenance, and emergency support.
- Assist with setup, configuration, and management of Microsoft 365 environments.
- Install and maintain hardware, software, and networking equipment.
- Conduct technical alignment reviews and report findings to management.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to systems or processes.
- Keep all documentation accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with the Professional Services and vCIO teams for escalations and project work.
- Mentor users and promote best practices for using IT systems effectively.
- Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented approach with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service delivery frameworks.
